Thanks to the incredible popularity of the MCU, the DC Universe has come under intense scrutiny over the last decade, and many of its movies have received lukewarm receptions. On paper, Black Adam hasn’t exactly gone against the grain in this regard, with critics divided in their opinions of the movie. Fan reaction, however, has been overwhelmingly positive, with the film’s $67 million domestic box office opening weekend serving as proof of this....

The Apple TV Plus film will be directed by Dexter Fletcher, who helmed Rocketman and finished filming Bohemian Rhapsody, and will be written by Deadpool and Zombieland writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. Evans will produce the film alongside Skydance’s Dave Ellison, who is best known for producing the Mission: Impossible Films. De Armas will also serve as executive producer on the project. Anderson suffered a calf strain on Monday evening and underwent a scan to assess the problem on the next day. The results of the scan were revealed on Thursday after the ECB’s medical staff evaluated it and the strain was confirmed. Thankfully for England It isn’t a serious injury and Anderson is likely to be fit for the second Test in Cape Town on January 2. Selangor star Andik Vermansyah’s fitness is still a doubt, but he is seemingly already free from his injuries, according to the Red Giants head coach Maniam Pachaiappan. The game burst into life after a dismal first half with Jordan Ayew, Andre’s brother, giving four-times champions Ghana the lead with a superbly-taken goal in the 63rd minute. Someone tweeted at Drummond out of the blue, threatening to hurt him. He lashed out in response. Drummond later deleted the tweet. In a lengthy conversation on the podcast, McCurdy claimed she had no real interest in spending time with Drummond and only agreed to talk to him because he "seemed like a big deal."
