Kemp started the game with a two-run homer in the first, added a single in the third, then connected on an RBI-double in the seventh. The triple in the ninth drove in Yangervis Solarte, giving Kemp four RBIs on the night.
Kemp is the fourth player to hit for the cycle this season, joining the Rangers’ Shin-Soo Choo (also against the Rockies), Adrian Beltre and the Red Sox’s Brock Holt.
