Maybin injured his arm on a diving catch in center field in the Padres' spring training game against the Dodgers on Sunday. He walked and hit a two-run home run prior to sustaining the injury.
The 26-year-old missed the majority of the 2013 season as he battled wrist inflammation early in the season and then tore a posterior cruciate ligament in his right knee in June.
